Content Biochar was created from Russian-olive at this demonstration using metal kilns. This event brought together state and federal officials, as well as local Emery County citizens that have been making biochar for years.
Content The objective of this event was to build on previous biochar kiln demonstrations and explain how this simple, low-cost approach to making biochar from a problem species, such as Russian-olive, may benefit and improve the ecosystem.
